In
many ways the Mooretown Brethren In Christ Church is like home-style cookin;
friendly, and inviting, with plenty of variety, and a special "flavor"
all our own. Our setting is warm, informal and accepting, our purpose
is to draw people into redmeptive relationships, our focus is on growing
in our relationships with Christ Jesus. We will cry with you, rejoice
with you, pray with you and study with you, and in so doing we will help
each other grow closer to God.
We have been ministering in this community for over a century as part of the Brethren In Christ denomination. In those years many pastors and missionaries have been sent out from this congregation, and we wish to continue that legacy. Accepting the disenfranchised is our vision; reaching the world is our calling; teaching God's word (especially to the younger generations) is our mission.
